Education-Focused Child Care & After-School Program

At Forrest Valley Day Care Center Inc. in Trenton, New Jersey, we're committed to caring for every child. That's why we offer an education-focused child care and after-school program to help your little one grow and develop.

Our Day Care Programs:

Enroll your child in our planned program, where they will experience fun, playful activities and an early childhood school curriculum geared toward academic growth, hands-on computer awareness, professional music classes, basic health and safety procedures, and problem-solving skills. Our caregivers and teachers work together to enrich the minds of all students in a nurturing environment.

Toddler Program

Forrest Valley Day Care Center, Inc. offers a structured Toddler Program for children 2 - 3 years old. Our program includes literacy-enriched activities that are developmentally appropriate. The program's goal is to prepare our toddlers for the preschool experience.

Program Highlights

Forrest Valley Day Care Center, Inc. operates from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Make sure to bring ALL your required documentation with you to your appointment.

Original Certified Copy of your child's Birth Certificate with a raised seal
Immunization Record (and Universal Child Health Record)
Two Proofs of Residency (dated within 30 days of your appointment)

We accept Child Care Connection subsidy programs (such as New Jersey Cares for Kids, WorkFirst New Jersey, and Mercer County Child Care Voucher Program, among others).

For every program, except DOE, there is a $50 nonrefundable registration fee due at the time of registration.

DOE Preschool Program

Forrest Valley Day Care Center, Inc., in partnership with Trenton Board of Education's Early Childhood Office, offers free preschool for children ages 3 - 4 years by September 30th and are residents of the City of Trenton. The school day operates from 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM.

Program Highlights

Contracted by the Trenton Board of Education and Department of Education, Forrest Valley operates from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. We accept child care subsidies such as Child Care Connection. There is a $50 registration fee due at the time of registration. We accept checks or money orders only (payable to Forrest Valley Day Care Center, Inc.).

How to Enroll

Contact the main office at 609-392-8720 to schedule an appointment and bring the required documentation.

Birth Certificate
Immunization record
Universal Child Health Record (Physical form we have available if you do not have.)
Two Proofs of Residency (dated within 30 days of your appointment)

WRAP Program

We offer the Before and After Care (known as the Wrap Program). The Wrap program is also offered through Child Care Connection for eligible families. The cost of before and after care may vary.

The WRAP Program runs from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM and from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM.

Summer Program

Forrest Valley Day Care Center, Inc. offers a structured summer program for children ages 2 - 5 years. We offer ten subject camps (i.e., art, drama, etc.) for each of the ten weeks this summer. Our summer program begins at the end of June and ends at the end of August. Our campers are offered breakfast, lunch, and a snack. Please view our summer camp flyer for specific dates & costs.
